Following a distinguished 24-year career as a leader and information technology and cyber security innovator with the US Air Force, culminating as the commander of the Air Force’s only combat coded deployable communications wing, and retired as a Colonel and returned to his home town of Saint Louis.
Joe now operates as comprehensive leadership advisor and consultant in such areas as strategy development, decision making and problem-solving, leading organizations, entrepreneurial start-up mentoring, and stress resilience. He is a certified executive and professional coach with credentials from the International Coach Federation, the Center for Executive Coaching, and the University of Texas at Dallas.
Joe is an adjunct faculty instructor at Washington University in Saint Louis and Saint Louis University.

Mr. Lang received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University and his law degree from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law.
He is a lawyer, author, frequent speaker, and active community member. Howard served as an officer in the United States Air Force and is a retired Captain in the United States Navy Judge Advocate Generals Corps. Howard has served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Lake and Cook counties, Illinois, a Special Assistant Attorney General of Illinois and a Hearing Officer for the Illinois Pollution Control Board.
He was a Co-Founder and Chairman of the Illinois/Wisconsin Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys, a Founding Member of WealthCounsel, LLC, Co-founder Fellow and Officer: Estate Planning Institute of Collaborative Resources (EPICOR),
Founder and Principal of Estate & Business Law Group, P.C. and Of Counsel to the Midwest regional law firm, SmithAmundsen.
Howard has provided legal advice, advocacy, business strategies, and succession planning services to his firm’s clients for nearly 40 years.
